Total Experience DEMEX personnel have over 150 years experience in the manufacture and use of explosives Certifications & Licenses All technical personnel hold blasters' licenses in the state of Louisiana. Licenses have been held in other states by 62 percent of our personnel at various times, depending on work locations and state law. All personnel have received "Right To Know" training as required by OSHA. All technical personnel hold level 1 blaster's Certification issued by the International Society of Explosives Engineers. All personnel hold Hazmat Training Certification as required by the U.S. Department of Transportation. Offshore personnel receive Offshore Water Survival training. All personnel have received the OSHA 10-hour training course for Construction Safety and Health. Professional Associations Membership in the International Society of Explosives Engineers. Served on Explosives Committee of International Association of Drilling Contractors. Served on Structure Technical Committee of the Offshore Operators, preparing a report on the efficient use of explosives in structure removal. Corporate member of the International Association of Explosive Metalworking. Chaired American Welding Society's Working Group "D" to develop standards for underwater cutting. Participation in Information Transfer Meetings sponsored by the U.S. Department of Interior, Minerals Management Service and the National Marine Fisheries Service.
